#80 Verity Price - World Champion Speaker

Alex MacPhail  talks to Verity Price, who is a former singer/songwriter who is currently a professional speaker and facilitator, speaking passionately about helping people and businesses change their thinking and write a different story. She went to the Waldorf School in Cape Town, ended up in a more formalised competitive high school, and studied psychology and anthropology. She's been in Hollywood movies, she's albums on Spotify, she does corporate training, she is a wife and a mother, and she is the world public speaking champion.

Verity won the 2021 World Championship of Public Speaking, hosted by the International Toastmasters  A nonprofit educational organisation that teaches public speaking and leadership skills; it has more than 300,000 members in 149 countries. Verity Price is a member of both the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa and Toastmasters. She is not only the first South African world champion of public speaking but also the first from the continent of Africa.
