From the time we’re little, we’re taught we need to ask permission for the most basic things in life. But what about when we’re grown? That’s when, hopefully, we discover that the only person we need permission from to show up, say what we need to say, be who we’re meant to be, is ourselves.
In this episode, I talk with visual designer and cultural innovator, Jermaine Bell. We talk about the practice of giving yourself permission to be creative, put yourself in places where you deserve to be, and to be your truest self. We also talk about some of the internal resistance that comes with all that. Because that’s real too.
