In today's episode, we are looking at the magickal, festive holly. We will explore holly's long and magickal history, from the ancient Celts and Romans who used it during Winter Solstice celebrations, to the Christian tradition of 'decking the halls' with holly during Christmas. We'll also touch on the  figure of the Holly King, a precursor to Santa Clause, who rules with his crown of holly this time of year. We'll close out the episode with some magickal uses of holly, and talk about a sacred imagining or meditation to get close to the energies of the plant.

My new YULE BLEND of enchanted herbal tea is out. It's a really nice blend of hibiscus, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel, and rosemary. Check out the listing by clicking on the link =)
