Our guest today, Maya DeGrood is a biochemist who is going on to study Interdisciplinary Oncologist at the University of British Columbia, BC, Canada. She is passionate about finding a cure for cancer and understanding the difficulties of the healthcare system. Maya is an advocate for inclusivity for the LGBTQ community in STEM fields.
