Ruth co-founded and led The Red House, a boutique financial planning firm, which she successfully merged with Paradigm Norton.  As an NED, Ruth continues to help grow Paradigm Norton, an employee owned and accredited BCorporation, to be the leading purpose driven financial planning firm in the UK.  

Ruth believes that money is just a means to an end.  Her role as Vice Chair of the Initiative for Financial Wellbeing (IFW) enables her to help financial planners and financial coaches understand how to make their clients happier not just wealthier.

A well-known and influential member of the financial planning profession, Ruth is regularly asked to comment and speak at industry and women’s events.  She also coaches business owners.

She launched a podcast in 2021, ‘Money Espresso; no froth conversations exploring money and life’.  Ruth speaks to guests from all walks of life and asks them to share their journey and the influence money has had along the way.  Her aim is to get people talking about money and explore how money and business can be a force for good.
