Sappho of Lesbos was the most famous female lyric poetess of ancient Greece and together with Homer (poet from The Iliad and The Odissey) are the greatest poets of the time. In such a difficult time for women to simply be free or receive education not related with domestic life, the success of Sappho and her association with "The Poet"  shows today's women the greatness of "The Poetess"  and her works.  In this episode  we will discuss about Sappho's life, works and  writing style.
