Daily Devotional - September 20, 2021 - Genesis 16:1-16

Thrive where you are despised, is the title of this lesson.  In this chapter we see the relationship between Abram, Sarai and Hagar, her handmaid. Sarai has put things in motion for her to have children and when they come to pass, she turns on the person that helped her with her plan, Hagar.  Hagar runs away but God sends his angel to talk with her and she goes back to the place where she is despised and thrives instead.
