Krista Tippett is a Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, a New York Times bestselling author, and a National Humanities Medalist who grew up in a small town in Oklahoma. She attended Brown University and was the 2019 Mimi and Peter E. Haas Distinguished Visitor at Stanford University. 


President Obama awarded Krista the National Humanities Medal at the White House for “thoughtfully delving into the mysteries of human existence.” This past January, On Being Studios launched a new podcast with Pádraig ó Tauma.
