Rotten Butterbeer Podcast: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Logan and Ali are back to discuss Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the first film to start setting up the series finale. With Voldemort officially back, Harry and Co are tormented by not only his return, but also the introduction of Professor Umbridge which finally gives the audience a deeper look into the corruption of the Ministry of Magic. With it becoming ever more apparent that there will be a war between good and evil coming later on, Order of the Phoenix starts introducing characters like Bellatrix Lestrange to show the depth of Voldemorts army and the real and present danger they represent. This was clearly one of the toughest books to adapt because of the colossal size of the novel, so obviously some major cuts needed to be made, so how did David Yates do in his first foray into the Potter franchise? Ali and Logan butt heads about Luna Lovegood and Ali finally comes clean about her IRL Neville Longbottom home wrecker story.
