"We just moved into our neighborhood. On Saturday, our neighbor had a big graduation party for their daughter who graduated from high school.

It started around lunchtime and just went on and on. About four. I went out and mowed the lawn. We're not that close to them, and there's a big wooden fence between us. And they had music playing in the backyard, so I thought it would all be fine.

My wife had been out shopping, but as soon as she got home and saw the lawn was mowed, she told me I was a jerk and needed to apologize. She said this is a horrible impression to make on our new neighbors, and I needed to take a nice bottle of wine over as a peace offering.

I said there's no problem and she's turning nothing into something. I didn't do anything wrong. Did I?"
