Random Rumination: Kawhi Leonard's Load Management from a Spiritual Perspective

Clearly Kawhi has the support of his team and the league for exercising his load management liberties. So why are the media and former NBA professionals all up in arms? Is it because it skews the game's analytics, or doesn't account for the best product being on the court at all times, therefore discounting the fans' experience while not cutting the cost of its' admission fee. While one talking heads program spewed their views, I was infused with a thought or two on load management from forging change to being the best version of oneself; accepting that there are different paths leading to the same destination; and eliminating self as the standard by which all others are measured. From one public perspective, Kawhi appears to be a private, thick-skinned and strong-willed athlete taking an unprecedented path to Greatness; however, it still remains to be seen.
