Our guest today is Prathamesh Yamul, who has a piece out on how one year out from the botched US withdrawl from Afghanistan a turf war between the Taliban and ISIS-K is dictating what's going on in the war torn country. Prathamesh walks us through what has happened in Afghanistan in the year since Kabul fell, and other than the drone strike again Zawahiri when most folks in the west stopped paying attention. Prathamesh also talks about what we should and should not be watching for going forward to see if anything is ever going to really change in this most troubled of countries. We go to Madison County, NC where the school districts and sheriff's office are teaming up with a radical idea for school safety: AR-15s, ammo, and breaching tools kept on-site at all the schools.
