Dr. Glicksman discusses the impact of family and community on health and well-being, and focuses on the relation of these two groups in the United States to the formal Jewish community and its institutions.

Dr. Glicksman, fellow of the JCPA, is Director of Research and Evaluation at the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. His research is focused on the impact of religion, ethnicity/nationality, and immigration history on the lives of older persons.
