Ross Theisen is an independent marketing manager and art director based out of Columbus, OH who has worked with bands such as Feverwar, Sink the Ship, Heavy Things and LAVE.

During my conversation with Ross we touch on topics such as:

Marketing your band
The pros and cons of being independent artist
And the professional way to handle things when they don’t go according to plan

Ross puts a lot of thought behind the work he does with bands in regards to marketing and film. Throughout this conversation with Ross, I really would like you to pay attention to Ross’s dedication to his clients. At his core he helps people be what they wanna be.

Challenge

I think we can all learn a lot from Ross. The way he stayed professional and positive even when things seemed helpless— having thousands of dollars of gear stolen and still working to recoup to cost to replace everything isn’t easy. He could have just give up, but instead he found a way to push forward no matter what.

I want to challenge you to think of a way that you can persevere and push forward in what seems like an impossible situation. If you’d to tell us about it email us at [email protected] or telling us on Twitter @hearseeco.
