In honor of Black History Month, we are joined by Dr. Rolanda Lister, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Stephanie Devane-Johnson, Certified Nurse Midwife, and Kristin Mejia-Greene, birth doula, to discuss a layered approach to birth as it relates to the Black community. We discuss the importance of the village approach to healthcare and how we can reduce the mortality rate among Black mothers in Tennessee.
