Interview with American Familia Author David A. Morales

Faith and resilience brought David Morales off the streets of Lynn, Massachusetts and out of poverty, helped him succeed at an elite college and in the worlds of government service and healthcare business.

He’s a strong believer that his story can inspire other discounted youth to dream big and achieve those dreams.

I first met David a decade ago when he was a senior executive at Steward Health Care. I learned something of his background, but now he’s put it all out there in his memoir, American Familia. You’ll get a taste of David’s very American journey and eclectic interests in this interview, and even more so from his book, which I read cover to cover.
