My goal has been to reduce Obesity, Prediabetes, and Type 2 diabetes and have have several audiobooks, paperbacks, and eBooks on the subject. We now have 42% of those on the modern wester diet with one of these problems. I have covered the etiology and what to do about this, but these is a gap in this information.
The incidence of being overweight or obese for the ages 2-19 is now 33%. Fifty years ago it was 5%. For most of history it has been even less. Fat children are much more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes, and at an early age. I am going to explain to you why this is happening and what can be done about it.
To do this I am going to have to teach you about epigenetics.
I have an audiobook and paperback on this subject which can be obtained by visiting kellygregg.com. I am also going to review the book through a series of podcast. This is the last one and reviews the maintenance diet. Of course you could always just get the audiobook.
I am a retired physician and hence you should not consider anything I tell you to be medical advice. It may be good advice and I count on your common sense to determine that.
