For my final part in this three-part series of the impact of the Bayer-Monsanto merger, I decided to check out what the farmers and the scientists think about this.
As it turns out they have a lot to say. The farmers are worried about pesticide drift onto organic farms and a growing weed tolerance of their weeds to the roundup formulation. There also worried about getting cancer. What a surprise. You can read more from the article I quoted here.
This NIH study talks about the harmful effects of any pesticides or herbicides that kills biological life.
