As I approach a year postpartum and adjust to life after endometriosis surgery, I’ve been noticing shifts happening in my diet and my life. Pregnancy affects everyone in different ways, but one thing is always the case: Your hormone levels soar. For some that feels amazing, but for others, it can create a lot of issues. And any sudden change to our hormones is going to put stress on the liver. On top of that there’s all the medication you may be taking that, while it can be necessary at the time, takes a toll on our health in other ways.
