Chances are, if you're joining us as a healthcare consumer interested in laser therapy, you're wanting to know more about how to support your body's natural healing processes. Laser therapy does just that- supports your own mechanisms of healing. But we also know that diet and exercise are the two biggest tools you can use to help your body function at a higher level. The problem is, when it comes to diet and supplements, how do you know what's best? There are so many people promoting different supplements and multi-level marketing programs, how do you know what really works? The answer to that is of course science! So today I'm pleased to welcome a scientist from the Reynolds Institute on Aging. Dr. Robert Wolfe is a former Harvard Medical School faculty member who has published over 452 peer-reviewed research articles, 126  review articles, three books, and has 5 patents. He is also the lead scientist and co-founder of "The Amino Company," and is joining us today to talk about using nutrition to maximize healing and recovery.

Dr. Wolfe's studies have been conducted with support from competitive research grants from the National Institutes of Health, National Space Biomedical Institute, US Department of Defense, The US Department of Agriculture, as well as the US Olympic Committee, and the International Olympic Committee.

Amino Co’s research, first funded by NASA, was developed by Dr. Robert R Wolfe, director of the Center of Translational Research in Aging and Longevity at the Reynolds Institute on Aging, and Professor of Geriatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Fun Fact: Co-founder Dr. Robert Wolfe was a competitive marathon runner who set national age-group records. Distance running: completed 62 marathons under 2:30; set age group world record in 30 K (45-49y), won over 100 local road races. Still running and fueling his body with amino acids at age 75.
