Episode Title:-  🇺🇸I Did It My Way....with Kindness! 🇺🇸

I had an engaging conversation on this episode of the #HTRetailSeries on Heads Talk

All I can say is listen to Faryl, she doesn’t mince her words. Put any question in front of her and she’ll answer it! Kindest is the theme that runs through this episode with Faryl Robin, CEO of Faryl Robin Footwear. You have to listen to the full episode to hear about the real work that she and her team are doing, for example factory workers in Asia and listen to the results. Amazing stuff.

Topics Covered:- #NFTs #ARCommerce #SocialEntrepreneur #RetailIndustryLeadership #WomenEmpowerment #FootwearBusiness

I could easily write a lot about Faryl, but I want to share her words, her thoughts and her modus operandi with you. In her own words:-

“If you are ambitious and want to be an industry leader.

Here's what you need to do.

You must know every part of the industry inside out. Understand every role in the company better than anyone else. I have done everything in the footwear industry that one can possibly do to get to where I am now.

Started selling retail for Kenneth Cole at 17 Studied shoe making in Italy Swept factory floors I was the absolute worst customer service rep Aerosoles ever had Moved to Canada to buy for the Aldo Group Designed for a trading company

I knew I was going to be an entrepreneur/CEO and all of this learning was necessary.

Before you want to be a CEO make sure you have a strong understanding of  every crucial position a company has. Know the operational process of certain segments of the business. “Not knowing” creates vulnerability for a CEO when making important daily decisions”
