René Schuster is the chairman of the board of VirtualStock. He is an expert in the telecommunications and technology industry and has an enviable record in growing global telecommunications and technology businesses. His most renowned achievement was as CEO of Telefonica Deutschland, in which he led the company through the largest IPO in Europe, growing the company from an initial 3€ billion evaluation into a 14€ billion organization.  

René has held a number of senior leadership positions including; the CEO of Adecco.  European CEO, Compaq computer corporation. Chief Operating Officer at VimpelCom, Global marketing director at Vodafone PLC. Senior Vice President at Hewlett Packard. He was also a director at IBM and the Managing Partner of KPMG, Consumer and Industry market EMEA. 

He gives us an insider's view to one of the few industries that has experienced an overall boost due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent economic lockdown, whilst also touching on the rise of  the bio genetic engineering industry and a call for a debate.
