Matt van Ax is a good ol' friend of mine. In the late 90s Matt spent countless hours perfecting his DJing skills, creating seamless transitions of perfectly beat matched tracks across the kick-drum pounding genres. And even after numerous gigs in the clubs and underground parties across the globe, he still spins till this day. For this special podcast I threw a challenge at him, and asked him to create a mix out of _my_ selections. Specifically, I wanted Matt to create a journey across my favorite albums selected for Headphone Commute's Best of 2010 : Music For Crawling Through Abandoned Cities. I supplied the albums, Matt supplied the mix. The result is an 80-minute incredibly hypnotic journey in ambient, deep, and dub techno styles. And the beat never stops.
