I can’t recall how I discovered Bigo and Twigetti, a London-based label releasing modern classical, electronic and ambient sounds. The label’s current roster includes Leah Kardos, Jim Perkins, Microseq, Sanmi, Upside Down Umbrella, and Ranger 3. For this Headphone Commute mix, I invited the label to share their favorite tunes with their ever growing audience. Here’s more on this mix. In ‘The Heat of the Moment’ an article by George Monbiot, published in the Guardian on 28th August 2012 he states ‘Climate breakdown is right here, right now’. Polar ice is at the lowest levels since records began and it hardly makes the news. This mix is based upon that article and my feelings on climate change.
