Rebecca Sounds Reveille with Richard Aviles and Eric McElroy

This episode introduces hosts of the Rico Podcast, Ricardo "Rico" Abdel Aviles and Eric J. McElroy. Rebecca and this veteran comic team deliver lots of laughs and hot talk about the road to hosting a personal podcast. Richard "Rico" was born, raised, and educated in Puerto Rico. Rico was part of FBLA, along with having been trained and utilized as a Spanish translator for his high school. Rico is an Army veteran, who was a military police officer and served in Iraq from 2008-2009 as part of the special reactions team and patrol officer. Rico earned the military outstanding volunteer service medal for service to his community, as well as, participated in recovery from the tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri in 2011. He is also a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a comedian who has opened and performed with names such as Kevin Farley, Ian Edwards, Shayne, and Smith to name a few.

Eric J. McElroy is a retired Navy veteran, author of Something New, and a comedian who made a run for the 4th Congressional District seat in 2010. A little-known fact about Eric will raise eyebrows and bring those who use font on the lookout. He had a font named after him. It's called "regular stud."
