It feels very trivial and unimportant to post an episode of our dumb show about Ethan Hawke movies while all of this is going on, but we recorded this a couple weeks ago and if it brings anyone joy or comfort to listen to us talk about Ethan Hawke, then I'm glad for that at least.

We recorded this episode 2 weeks ago so we don't discuss the protests or police abuse that has been going on over the last few days. So I want to say here that there is a lot of important work to be done right now, and we've tried to help where we can by donating, emailing our city council members with regard to the budget, and sharing resources/information with friends and on social media. If you're reading this, please do the same.

If you're not listening to podcasts right now or just not this silly one, we completely understand and support you! If you are and need something light to think about for an hour, here is our episode about the 2014 film, Boyhood, with guest Jared Goldstein (@heyjaredhey). He joins us to talk about this iconic Linklater film that spans 14 years of Ethan Hawke - a journey not unlike ours throughout this podcast!
