Generations before versus movies, crossover franchises, or the commercial behemoth of shared cinematic universes the studio heads at Universal had an idea to reinvigorate their flagging horror franchises by mashing all their properties into a single project. Tyler & Andy explore the 'monster rally' films Universal made in the mid-1940s as both films in of themselves and as send-offs to three of the greatest monsters of the golden era.
