Being "battle-ready" means you are prepared with gear (your sword, shield, and armor), but also mentally. God constantly asks us to go to bat for what is right and just. He will be with us during difficult times and do what He tells us to do. Start at the roots. Why do we put on the armor of God? Why should we trust the armor that He provides? Does God really care about us? We see that the devil is always working for bad, and we need to be prepared.
