Joy Reid: The Tea Party never died, lives on in MAGA movement and more

Joy Reid leads The ReidOut tonight with the revelation that while the Tea Party is officially gone, it never actually died. Now that same, faux grassroots strategy is being applied to the anti-vax truckers in Canada. Next, musician, author and director Questlove joins us on directing a documentary on what many call the "Black Woodstock" -- ‘Summer of Soul’ streaming on Hulu. Then authors Wajahat Ali and Yascha Mounk debate the fact that many Americans are calling for an end to all pandemic restrictions, as over 2,600 Americans die daily of COVID-19 on average, while average daily cases have dropped 64% to 213,830.
