The House Judiciary Committee held the last scheduled public hearing before entering articles of impeachment. After years of President Trump accusing the intelligence community of “spying” on him, the Dept. of Justice’s Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, found no evidence of “political bias or improper motivation” in an investigation of President Trump’s campaign. The Washington Post reports that AG William Barr has told Trump that Rudy Giuliani is a liability. And more than 2,000 pages of government documents show that the U.S. has failed to build a counter-force to the Taliban and that stable areas of Afghanistan won’t outlast the on-the-ground presence of American troops.
