Episode 27 - Calvin Coolidge

Calvin Coolidge was born on July 4, 1872 in Plymouth Notch, VT, and he was the 30th President of the United States. A man of few words, "Silent Cal" was an accidental president, becoming POTUS upon the death of Warren G. Harding. He invited members of Congress to have breakfast with him at the White House, serving them pancakes with Vermont maple syrup. Then he would give them the silent treatment!
