In episode 7 host Rena Tunechi invites guest, Eve from @haveseveral_seats podcast to discuss the highly demanded topic of Honour Killings! Rena Tunechi shares the story of Banaz Mamood, who died at age 20. Her murder was constructed by her father and uncle. They believed she brought dishonour to the family name when she walked out on her abusive husband she was forced to marry and fell in love with Rahmat Suleiman. The couple were harassed daily and reported the abuse to the Metropolitan police numerous times. When the police realised the danger Banaz was facing it was already too late.

Rena and Eve also discuss the differences between being a woman in the western world compared to other cultures and the privilege they are lucky to have being born in the UK with liberal, loving parents.
