IMPD Arrest Father and Son in Connection with Explosion Under Overpass

Police have arrested two people for manufacturing and having destructive devices. IMPD says the blast happened on West 16th Street by a railroad overpass not far from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A woman told police she was driving under the overpass when something blew up right in front of her car. Officers found dirt, glass and other debris around her vehicle. The lights under the overpass were also broken. Police arrested 56-year-old Wayne Turner for Manufacturing and Possession of a Destructive Device and 21-year-old Isak Turner for Possession of a Destructive Device and Criminal Mischief.
