Wednesday 8th January : Unsolicited blessings

2 samuel 6: 9 - 12

David was afraid of the LORD that day and said, "How can the ark of the LORD ever come to me?"
He was not willing to take the ark of the LORD to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
The ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the LORD blessed him and his entire household.
Now King David was told, "The LORD has blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God." So David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing.

When mercy of God speaks it comes with divine audacity
No controversy , unexplainable reason and divine order.unsolicited settlement.
You will just find it difficult to explain why.

The Bible makes it clear that Obededom did not seek for the ARK of covenant of God,
Joseph neither contested for the position of prime minister in Egypt.nor advertised his resume.He didn't have a resume of government studies or administration ( that office never existed anywhere in the world it was created for his sake.)
Mary did not pray to be the mother of Jesus and Peter did not invite Jesus into his Boat, but Divine Favour, Mercy and Grace of GOD located and found them all.There is a grace of unmeritted favour.when it sets in protocols are suspended overruled and nullified.

I decree and declare by the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus, that Divine Help, favour, Mercy, and Grace of GOD will find and locate you wherever you are with your household.
David did not for one day advocate for kingship
He didn't know or dream of it but suddenly, suddenly the prophet Samuel came calling, destiny came calling and the game changer put him above all others.with holy oil David was anointed and announced.
