46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

Are you a hearer and a doer of God's word or just a hearer.Jesus said in

John 10:27-28 (KJV)

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Do you hear the shepherds voice and obey or do you hear and turn a deaf ear to his command.God knows those who listen and obey.je knows the sheep and he knows those who act as goats.
Obedience and compliance is a sure guarantee
to fortify you when ever the storm of life confront you.Your foundation proves the quality of the stuff you are made of
My question to you is simple
Are you a sheep or a goat.
Sheep's obey
Goats are stubborn and disobedience.
Sheep's follow the rod or direction of hand of the shepherd while goats must be beaten to obey.
Is the foundation of your faith strong or shallow.
is your faith tested and trusted
is it bread and butter motivated.
The faith of a Christian is built through seasons of encounters and not just one day experience.jesus is interested in 100% obedience not 50% not 90% not 99% but 100 %.
The promise of God for compliance is eternal life and nothing I repeat nothing can pluck you out of Gods hand.That means no matter the storm you will overcome.
No matter the battles you will prevail.
No matter what comes your way God will keep you as a strong tower.
And he will give unto you ( obedient and faithful, doer of his word and will) eternal life;
He says you will never perish, neither shall any man pluck you out of Gods hand.
