This episode of H2TechTalk dives into the Regional Report on Asia-Pacific from H2Tech’s Q2 issue, published in May. Asia-Pacific is forecast to be the fastest-growing region in hydrogen to 2025, as governments continue to adopt green technologies to meet national targets for carbon emissions reduction. Estimated potential demand for imported hydrogen in China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore could reach $9.5 B by 2030. Japan and Australia are the regional leaders in hydrogen projects and synergies, although China is working at a rapid pace to expand its hydrogen infrastructure.
