Kayla Beal is a natural born innovator in today’s society. She is a television producer, writer, model, and entrepreneur. Raised in Queens, New York—her parents showed her the importance of education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated magna cum laude at Virginia State University. It’s Kayla’s experiences at V.S.U. that shaped and molded her to the mogul she is today— working with various celebrities such as Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos, Kimberly Locke, Wendy Williams, Tobias Truvillion, and many more.

In this episode, we focus on our HBCU experiences and how it has shaped us to be fearless Black leaders in a society that may not treat us as kind. Its the HBCU experience that influences her voice within her work as she continues to break barriers within the entertainment industry.
