Vaccines in the State of Georgia are reaching a demand that cannot be met. Governor Kemp expanded the group of citizens that qualify for the vaccine to those considered "high risk". Citizens over 65 and frontline healthcare workers can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine. January 7th started Gwinnett's 2021 school calendar. Many board members pushed for an online-only learning forum that would have lasted through this weekend. Unfortunately, the online-only session did not take place on the 7th; things are starting to change due to increased staff in contact with COVID-19.
