The eggnog is gone, and so is the brother-in-law that loves saying the N word, and he's definitely not black. All signs point to the the day Dr. Melfi referred to as "Stressmas" has come and gone once again and we're nearing the end of another year. But before everyone huddles around their COVID-exposed friends and family to welcome 2022, there's still one more Gutter Boys episode to stream so you can find out who are this years PIMPS & SIMPS of 2021. After the awards, we're joined with Brian Baynes of Bubbles Fanzine and Ryan Holmberg to discuss their recent book Bat Kid. Originally written and drawn by Inoue Kazuo and serialized in Manga Shōnen from 1947 to 1949, Bat Kid was re-released this year by Bubbles in a brand new English translation to reintroduce a whole new generation of comic readers to post-war manga and Kazuo's influential career.
