On this episode of Gutter Boys, Pete Faecke stops by to help us promote our upcoming programming in conjunction with Autoptic, the Twin Cities-based small press show that's going virtual for 2020 as we all remain self-quarantined during the pandemic. We're later joined by Audra Stang, Pittsburgh-based cartoonist and creator of her one-person anthology, The Audra Show, which collects her comics ranging from autobiography to stories about the fictional town of Star Valley, GA, and its inhabitants. Original from North Carolina, Audra's work deals with magical realism, science fiction, and employment in the hospitality industry. Her minicomic “Pale, Sick, and Magic” was named in “The Best Short-Form Comics of 2016” on The Comics Journal.

Audra can be found on Instagram @audra.stang, or you can browse more of her work on her website at https://poodledooples.com/. You can also pick up issues 1-4 of The Audra Show at Radiator Comics.

Be sure to follow Autoptic on Instagram @autopticfestival and Twitter @autopticfest for updates and upcoming panels that we'll be hosting for the rest of August, or visit their website at autoptic.org for more information.
