Episode 38 - 2018 Selma Business Pitch Contest Recap

In this episode, I provide a year end wrap of the Selma Business Pitch Contest and Conference. Ceyero Consulting and the Guerrillapreneur Podcast sponsored the Selma Business Contest and Conference. The Selma Business Contest and Conference is an opportunity for Black Belt entrepreneurs and small businesses to pitch their business plans, concepts and actual businesses to compete for prizes and business support. On December 8, 2018, we held the Fifth Annual Selma Business Pitch Contest and Conference. The theme of the conference was "Entrepreneurship, Robotics, and Aviation Technology: The Keys To Revitalizing The Black Belt South." The Keynote speaker at the event was Mr. Sam Ortega, a deputy director with NASA in charge of partnerships. The conference also featured a Real Estate Entrepreneurship panel with several successful property owners including Clyde Richardson, Joe Peterson and Shirley Dawson, broker at Divine Realty LLC (https://www.divinerealtyselma.com). The Pitch contest featured teams from Birmingham, Alabama, Montgomery, Alabama, Selma, Alabama, Auburn, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia.
