Summary:

Are you a noob in podcast audio editing or simply an early stage podcaster doing things on your own? If yes, don’t miss this episode.

Don’t let hiccups and hurdles dishearten you. Instead, ask yourself, how can I make this process better? This is the advice that Podcast Chief Producer of Pikkal & Co., K Bharat has for you. Letting things get in your way leads you to podfading, and lose the chance to put your message out there.

Listen to this episode for all these golden nuggets from K Bharat’s experience and more valuable advice on the technical stuff of podcasting.

In this episode, we discussed:

What the essence of podcasting is, the impact that it creates on listeners and how it creates a sense of purpose and motivation.
Why content and marketing are important in planning your podcast besides having high-quality equipment and technical knowledge.
Why having a good microphone and optimal recording station is a must in podcasting.
Audio editing tools K Bharat would recommend to early-stage podcasters.

About the Guest:

K Bharat is the Chief Producer of award-winning podcast agency, Pikkal & Co. He is a self-confessed audio fanatic whose exposure to audio and media as a Mass Comm student in RMIT became his unfair advantage to learning audio editing.

On his first day at work, he was handed a mixer, taught how to use a microphone and given eight hours to learn audio editing. Fair enough, he pulled it through, producing his first show, Pitch Deck Asia

Some of his notable podcasts productions include Sounds of Our City, Radio DDC and Asia Tech Podcast. Today, K Bharat has over 1500 episodes produced under his sleeves and is also the host of Magic Mic Podcast where he interviews podcasters about their stories and journey in podcasting.
