In this episode, we speak to Denise Amyot, the president and CEO of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). CICan is an association of colleges and institutes in Canada and they support businesses by helping them identify training needs and by delivering specialized trainings for their employees. Denise has had several high-profile leadership roles in the past. We discussed personal habits she has developed that contributed to her success and the importance of networking.

We also discussed why it’s important for businesses to provide ongoing training for their employees and why there can be a reluctance to invest in it.
