There is a saying that a lot of entrepreneurs shout about hiring a team...Hire Slowly and Fire Quickly. It makes sense, but, 95% of the people I know are applying it wrong.

Most people think, Hiring slowly means not hiring until you 110% need the help.

Yes, it might mean skipping lunch a few days a week to get work done. Yes, it might mean working after everyone in your house goes off to bed. Yes, it might mean spending hours learning how to do something that isn’t in your area of expertise so you can do it yourself.

Anything to save a few bucks right?

And, because you heard that you should hire slowly, you don’t believe you’re at the point where you need to add finding and managing a team member to your plate.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but hiring slowly does NOT mean waiting to hire until your business is bursting at the seams.

In this episode of the Growing Your Team podcast you'll learn what hiring slowly really means and how to apply it to your small business.
