From her first days starting at Goldman Sachs in London, Rita Kakati-Shah looked for other women and people of color in the industry. Realizing that she was alone in a male-dominated industry, Rita started changing the industry from within by supporting other women with internal and external networking groups. Rita was successful in helping others while recognizing her own leadership skills.
She eventually changed industries and left her successful career to the fast-paced life of motherhood! Like so many women, she embraced the challenges of reentering the workforce.
Today, Rita is an award-winning, gender diversity, inclusion and career strategist, speaker, mentor and advisor to Fortune 500 companies. She is the Founder and CEO of Uma, an international platform that partners with organizations to attract, keep and develop women and minorities in the workforce.
In our in-depth conversation we discussed:
●    How to deal with running a business and a family (aka Super Mom!)
●    Her mission to empower women and minorities, and how to build confidence.
●    Why, as a woman make an outstanding leader.
●    Specific Exercises to develop leadership skills specifically designed for women.
●    How to be true to yourself and your personal brand.
Rita and I share the same philosophy of changing the industry from within, and mentoring women to stay in the industry and become influential leaders. I know you’ll learn so much from Rita’s thought-provoking leadership training for women.
