The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

The most common way to interpret this parable is that Jesus is trying to help us understand the great value and treasure that is the kingdom of God. That above anything else that we could treasure in this life, the kingdom of God holds the most value.
