In the words of the late great Zig Ziglar, "You were born to win, but to be a winner you plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win"

That is serious fire right there! I meant that's powerful right? This is one of my favorite quotes and one of my favorite talks I have seen Zig give. That being said, I have to remind myself of this often. And I want to remind you that you were born to win.

That's why in this episode I am going to talk about why you were born to win and how to get back to winning when you have had setbacks or you are not where you want to be in your career, relationship, life or business.

You ready? Well...LET'S GO!

Press play and take a listen.

Here's some of what I talk about in this episode:

[4:53] You made it through 100% of every bad day that you've ever had. Every bad day that you've been Had you made it, you're still here.

[5:57] Nobody has your story. Nobody has your journey. Nobody has your experiences. nobody else's like you, there's no one else like you. And so the fact that you're unique, the fact that you've had your own journey, your own experiences, that proves that you're different than everybody else.

[7:55] You a winner just for the fact that you get up out of bed and you go about your day and you go to work or school or your business or you volunteer, or whatever it is that you do.

[12:07] Regardless of where you are in your life right now. You are a winner. You were born to win. The fact that you are here listening to this podcast, you were born to win. And sometimes it might not seem like that, trust me, I've had a lot of bad days. That's just life but what we have to learn is how do we bounce back from that?

[16:23] The first thing that you really need to do is to get clear about what you want in all areas of your life that matter. What do you want in terms of your finances, your health, your relationships, your career, your business, your personal development?

[18:55] You look at high-performing people or high-performing athletes. They write down their goals, they make a plan. They don't wing it. They know what success looks like to them. They're clear about what they want. And then they know what success looks like they map it out

[20:10]  We use all of this negative language. And that's not the language that winners use. Winners don't use that language. So you have to change your language, if you want to be a winner, you got to change the language that you use, you got to be more assertive, you got to be more powerful, you got to be more positive with the words that you're using.

[21:16] Do you visualize yourself succeeding? This is all part of the preparation. Are you practicing? Are you saying these positive things to yourself? Are you visualizing success? Are you taking action every single day to make it happen? That's what preparation is, you're preparing for success.

[21:57] You have to take action every single day. Don't take days off. And if you do take a day off, it's okay, don't beat yourself up. You can restart.

[23:23] Go back and check out that episode with Mario Armstrong and myself. But in that episode, it was really great because we were talking about, you know, how do you win? How do you become successful? And Mario said you need many moments of momentum to be successful. And if you've been listening to me, I always say progress equals belief.

[25:01] I'm thinking, I never thought I could write a book. I never thought I could speak on stages. I never thought that I could start my own business. I never, I never knew that. And I always thought it was some these things were for other people, I never thought they were for me.

[26:48] And so you need to take action. You need to practice every single day with your mindset. What are you telling yourself? What affirmations are you using? Are you visualizing? Are you taking action? Are you connecting with the right people? Because the more you do that, the more you're going to expect to win.

[30:45] We don't need to be cheerleaders. Well, maybe sometimes we need to pump ourselves up. But it's about action, though. It's about action. It's about talking ourselves into taking action. And then in the action, realizing that there's something amazing about us.

[32:25] And we've been able to get goals done, things that we've been struggling with for years in a matter of 90 days in some cases. So if you need some help, definitely go ahead. You can check out at IamDannyStone.com/getitdone
