Kris Krane, Co-Founder and President of 4Front Ventures, is back on The Green Rush for a special edition episode covering the 2020 Election! A longtime advocate turned executive, Kris has been the front lines advancing cannabis legislation across the country for decades. In addition to his work at 4Front, Kris is also a Senior Contributor with Forbes looking at the investment, legislative and operational advancements of the cannabis industry. 

With several cannabis initiatives on ballots in states like New Jersey, Arizona, South Dakota, Montana and Mississippi as well as the massive presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, we wanted to get Kris on the show to give us an idea of how this election could shift the cannabis industry in a massive way. In our conversation we also cover SAFE Banking and the MORE Acts as well as get Kris’ thoughts on the role VP candidate Kamala Harris could play in advancing decriminalization of cannabis.

Prior to forming 4Front, Kris served as director of client services for CannBe, a pioneer in developing best practices within the medical cannabis industry. Kris has dedicated his career to reforming the nation’s misguided drug policies, having served as associate director of NORML from 2000 to 2005 and executive director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy from 2006 to 2009. He currently serves on the National Cannabis Industry Association board of directors and pens a column about the cannabis industry for Forbes.
