Jeffrey W. Metrick served 4 years in the US Army from 2002-2006. In 2006 Jeff got out of the Army to help his dad battle cancer and run a 120 acre farm with the help of his sister. In 2007 Jeff went to Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL to study Political Science with two minors History and Economics, while at Western Jeff joined Iota Phi Theta and became chapter president from 2010-2011. Jeff after graduating went back to the farm and helped in father along with his sister until your father died in 2012. In 2013 Jeff moved to the Chicago land area and wanted to start a business that would help people live their lives to their fullest potential. Liberty Outfitter LLC was started with the dream of making great smelling candles as simply as possible with only 2 ingredients. First is 100% American soy wax and the second is 100% American made scent and finally 100% American made Mason Jars. A portion of each sale which is 10% goes to Operation Home Front; this is a veteran’s organization that helps veterans in need. Liberty Outfitter was started by Jeffrey W. Metrick who himself is a veteran with the goal of helping veterans to get back on their feet. The company has expanded this idea to help create economic opportunities in underserved neighborhoods on the South side of Chicago.
