This week on the show Maine and Miranda recap Finishers Summer Bash 2 with many title matches, as well as preview the IBJJF GP and superfights, as well as the Blue Collar FC 8-Man bracket.
In the news section of the show we discuss the Moldolfo team lineup changes for Aiga December event with Mica Galavo added to the team. Plus WNO matchup Gordon Ryan Vs Patrick Gaudio announcement for the WNO Night of Champions.
In the recap section of the show we discuss finishers, summer bash 2 and both of Max Hanson’s title fights, his 155 pound lightweight title and his welterweight 170 pound title defenses both that he retained via submission. We discussed the Corbre brothers with Gavin and Deandre both hitting triangle from the back submissions with armlocks off the top of the position quickly.
We discuss the main event, heavyweight title fight between Pat Shangoli vs Nick Wiley, that saw Pat finish your leg lock in the literal last second of the regulation. We also discussed some potential matchups for Pat to defend his title against.
We also talked about a number of other matches that took place on the card.
In the previous section of the show, we discuss the IBJJF absolute GP taking place the weekend of masters worlds in Vegas. We talk about how the bracketing has heavily pushed to see Nicolas Meregali versus Victor Hugo in the finals, a rematch from the contentious absolute world finals that ended in disqualification after the fact for Nicholas.
We also discussed some of the exciting superfight’s taking place on the card as well.
In the preview of blue collar FC, we discuss all of the first round match ups, and pathway to victory for all of the athletes on the card Giancarlo Bodoni pathway to victory in his rubber match eith Eldar Cruz. We discuss Roosvelt Souza Vs Devonte Johnson and if the bigger Souza will be able to slow the pace of Devonte. On the bottom, half of the bracket, we discuss Andy Varella versus Jacob Rodriguez, in a clash of the weight classes, and what is sure to be a phenomenal high paced wrestling match. We also discuss Andre Porforio Vs Roberto Jimenez in a bottle of if Roberto will be able to take the back.
In the outro section of the show, we discuss masters worlds, taking place this weekend, and potential super fights.
